(7أدوات الربط Conjunctions
وهي كلمات نربط بها كلمات أخرى أو عبارات أو شبه جملة أو جملة مثل: and, so, but, therefore لا ولا also, as well as, neither-norوغيرها كثير وتأتي في بداية الجملة وفي وسطها وفي نهايتها. أمثلة :
1. إنا أحب البرتقال والتفاح. I like oranges and apples. 1.
2. هو لا ذكي ولا نشيط.
2. He is neither clever nor active.
3.هو حاول العمل لكنه تعبان. 3. He tried to work. However, he felt tired.
4. لبسوا قمصان واكوات ولبسوا قبعات أيضا 4.They wore shirts and coats, they wore hats as well.

INTERJECTIONS(8 أدوات التعجب
هي كلمات تعبر عن شعور مفأجىء مثل Good, Heavens, How pretty, Alas, Hello, Ah, Oh, Hurrah, صوت مرتفع للتعبير عن الفرح etc, e.g.:

Hurrah! We have won the match. 1.
2. Ah! it hurts me .
3. Alas! I haven't money to buy a car.

أجزاء الجملة
PARTS OF THE SENTECE
Lost his axe. The poor man
Were happy. The students

The poor men, the studentsتسمى مبتدأ lost his axe, were happy. تسمى خبراً.
المبتدأ subject والخبر predicate .
أما في الجمل التالية فيوجد لدينا فاعل وفعل ومفعول به, وهذا هو الترتيب الطبيعي للجملة في اللغة الإنجليزية
1.The cat killed the rat.
the cat الفاعل , killedالفعل the ratالمفعول به.
2. The police arrested the thief.
المفعول به الفعل الفاعل
فالجملة الإنجليزية تبدأ دائماً بالفاعل subjectثم الفعل verbثم المفعول به object أو المبتدأ ثم الخبر كما لاحظنا في الأمثلة.
Exercise
Pick out the parts of speech in the following and put them in a table :
استخرج أجزاء الكلام من التالي وضعه في جدول :
One day, my father asked me to do shopping. I forgot so he called me to his
private room and asked me why didn't I do that?. I told him that I did my homework myself so I forgot. My father advised me saying,`don`t delay the work of today to an other day.` I have understood the lesson and promised not to do that again.
