Dear Dr. Ahmed Thank you for this sadness story . I belief that case is not the first of its kind in Yemen and some other Arab countries and African too . sexual and domestic abuse for children now is going on everywhere in our countries . No civil law protect victims of sexual abuse in these area

What surprised me is that we are a muslim country which is famous of its islamic awareness which we believe it will reduce these ( CRIMES ), but unfortunatly the ignorance and lack of education is playing a very effective role in the situation our community faces currently

I agree with you that ignorance and lack of education one of the effective roles in our community and you do not have to be surprised even that we are muslims.
